Bill Davidson L.Ac.

Bill Davidson holds a bachelor's degree from California State University San Francisco and a master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from Five Branches University. He is licensed to practice acupuncture and herbal medicine by the California Acupuncture Board.

A knee injury while training in 2002 and subsequent acupuncture treatment and recovery were Bill's first direct exposure to acupuncture. Inspired by his outcome he pursued a formal education in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Over the next five years of classroom work and over 900 hours of clinical work, he came to understand the true potential of this medicine.

During his clinical training Bill specialized in treating sports injury patients. As an avid cyclist, surfer, and martial artist, he has a personal interest in working with athletes to help maintain health, and where necessary, overcome injury. Also, in clinical training he used scalp acupuncture for neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy and stroke, areas of medicine he continues to pursue. Bill also completed an externship at Janus of Santa Cruz, a residential drug and alcohol treatment facility, where he used the NADA ear acupuncture protocol to help patients recovering from addiction.

After closing his private clinic to care for his son Bill started working part time within the Community Acupuncture model. Years of experience with this model have helped him understand its great potential. Bill is excited to continue his journey into Community Acupuncture at Flux Acupuncture Lounge.
